## Background
The client develops a SaaS product and needed a dedicated database server to handle growing data volumes while maintaining query performance and data security.

## Problem
The database and application were co-hosted on the same server. As data grew, database I/O demands began degrading application performance, and peak-hour queries became noticeably slow.

## Solution
The client deployed a dedicated PostgreSQL server on an NCSE VPS, leveraging NVMe SSD high IOPS for intensive queries. Automated and off-site backup strategies ensure data safety. Internal network connections to the application server minimize latency.

## Result
Separating the database from the application noticeably improved query performance, eliminating peak-hour slowdowns. Scheduled backups safeguard data, and the client is confident in the architecture's scalability.
